Senior Frontend Developer (m/f/x) - Berlin

Who we are:

jameda is the German market leader in connecting patients and doctors in a digital way. Healthcare, in particular elderly care, is one of the fastest growing markets in Germany. We build products and features that will guarantee fast, high quality access to medical services that enhance (and sometimes replace) outdated ways of communication and medical treatment. Our goal is to improve peoples’ lives on a daily base with cutting-edge technology and nationwide partners that work with every part of the German healthcare industry.

What you can expect from us:

  • When we're talking about 'The System', then we're talking about our baby
  • A micro-service architecture beauty with Kafka as the heart. Many services in PHP and Java, a docker container that protect them and pure deployment pipelines which bring our baby new or modified features.
  • Work on the Face of our baby - the frontend - HTML, CSS, Angular... you name it
  • Here is some stuff that (hopefully) elevates your heartbeat:

Angular 8 (soon 9) & Bootstrapped CSS
Widgets for Customers and Frontend SDKs
WebRTC with TURN and Signal Servers
Jenkins, Staging Systems and Deployment Pipelines
Domain Driven Design, Micro-Services

What we would expect from you:

  • At least 5 years experience with Javascript, TypeScript, HTML and CSS
  • Strong knowledge of Git, Atlassian Suite (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket) developing standards (clean code, pull-requests, pair programming) and security standards
  • Experience in agile methods
  • Have an open minded startup mentality, be a team player and share your knowledge with others
  • A big plus is knowledge about Redux
  • GDPR knowledge brings you an added bonus

What we can offer you:

  • Since we know you really like to get your hands on IT stuff, we also know that you need the right tools and circumstances to get into the tunnel: starting with an attractive salary
  • A high performance MacBook Pro
  • Two flat screens (but still thick enough so that dust can land on)
  • Fresh vegetables & fruits
  • Fair trade coffee, chocolate and other sweets
  • Time to learn new stuff and even improve your German (in a class payed by us)
  • Tickets for conventions
  • 30 days of vacation
  • Summer and winter company festivals and a lot of spontaneous after work ... opportunities
  • A great network (Burda owns companies like XING, CLIQZ (fork of Firefox), HolidayCheck etc.)
